“We are aware that we have to do things well to get earn our place in the next round. Dinamo Bucuresti is a team that we have to respect. If we think we are safe we will start to have problems because they are strong. They are in this position because they earned it. If we do things well we can hurt them.”

Garcia went on to say that he is very comfortable in the team and wants to continue helping Athletic improve as a club. In the end, he said the fan support at the San Mames will be a big factor in Thursday’s match.

“I think I am well established and I want to help the team. The sensations are better than other years at this point. Sometimes things can be mental, but we all want to be in this type of situation. As always the fans will be with us and we always feel that support. It is important to have their help.”

Thankfully, Iñaki Williams may be able to make his return to the lineup after sitting out the first meeting. Kuko Ziganda admitted that the player will be in the squad and that he may even start on Thursday. Having the winger on the field would give Athletic and added spark and flair that was missing in the first meeting in Romania. Regardless, the Lions know what is at stake on Thursday. They must get a good result to advance.
